Welcome
 |
Phew! We made it. It hasn’t been the easiest year for many restaurateurs, but now that we’re in December, I hope your restaurants are crammed full of diners finally letting their hair down. With Christmas parties finally underway, perhaps it’s a good time to reflect on the key trends for your business in 2009, and begin to think about what you’ll aim for in 2010.
A big shift in 2009 here at Livebookings has been the way that many big high street brands have embraced web bookings; we’ve seen that diners are as keen to reserve their tables online, whether they are eating with Gordon Ramsay or at their favourite casual dining restaurant. Read on for more news about how some big brands have contributed to Livebookings’ growth in recent months, and changed our perceptions of diners’ booking behaviour.
Finally, I’d like to thank you all very much indeed for working with us in 2009. We’ve achieved fantastic levels of growth as a company, and picked up some awards along the way, but we couldn’t have done any of it without our restaurant partners! Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year from all at Livebookings.
